Rural Times - Spring 2026 Edition

This edition highlights some of the efforts of the Country Watch Rural Crime Task Force, as well as other police teams and partners, to continue to proactively deal with issues surrounding stolen plant and farm machinery, and waste crime.

The online magazine also touches on rising metal theft across the county, advice on livestock worrying and fuel theft, and some recent arrests, prosecutions and court appearances for rural offenders.

We have some information on waste crime from the Environment Agency too, as well as matters relating to wildlife such as ground nesting birds in the New Forest.
