Appeal for witnesses and information following serious assault in Liss |
||
|
We are appealing for witnesses and information as part of our investigation into a serious assault in Liss. We were called to a report that at around 5:45am on Tuesday 7 April, two men had stopped their vehicles on the B3006 in Empshott, Liss and had been involved in an argument in the road. One man reportedly assaulted the other, causing several fractures to his face, before leaving the scene in a white vehicle. An investigation has been launched and as part of their enquiries, officers have arrested a 35-year-old man from Portsmouth on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue. It is believed that there may have been several witnesses to this incident, due to the traffic caused by the stopped vehicles. If you have any information which could assist our investigation, including dashcam footage of the incident, please report this to us by calling 101 and quoting reference number 44260161046. You can also submit information to us online here: https://www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/ Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org
