CCTV issued following shoplifting in Ryde |

We are issuing a CCTV image of man we would like to speak to after a shoplifting incident at Sainsbury’s on Union Street, Ryde. On Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24 December) shortly before 6:00pm, a man placed around thirty boxes of chocolate, worth £180, in a bag before leaving Sainsbury’s on Union Street without paying for them. Following enquiries, we are now able to share an image of a man who was seen in the area at the time and we believe may be able to assist with our investigation into this incident. He is described as, - Between 20 to 30-years-old - White - 5ft 9inchs tall - Medium build - With brown or dark blonde hair - Wearing a red jacket over a jumper and dark blue trousers If you recognise this man or were in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, please call 101 and quote 44250578742.
