On Thursday I was delighted to welcome Yateley, Blackwater and Hawley’s Neighbourhood Watch committee to Yateley Police Station for a meeting to discuss all things Hart North. This is to prepare for their AGM which takes place next week. 

As a local Policing team, we speak regularly with our Neighbourhood Watch, and I send a newsletter every month to members with a local update and relevant crime prevention advice. The two sides of our beat have also recently merged, meaning we have one watch covering the whole area that myself and PC Knaggs cover. This allows us to reach lots of people easily who are dedicated to keeping Yateley, Blackwater and Hawley safe.

We’re on the lookout for new members who are keen to join – you don’t have to do anything however by becoming a NHW member you’ll be contributing to keeping our area free from crime. We’re particularly looking for new members in Hawley View, Helios Park, and Yateley Urnfield, as we know these are areas that may not be part of the larger NHW network in Hart and Rushmoor.
