Four people arrested following report of burglary in Aldershot


Four people have been arrested following a report of a burglary in Aldershot during the early hours of this morning.

We were called at 1.06am today (6 May) after a property on Croft Road had been accessed. Car keys had been stolen from inside the address.

Officers attended the scene and saw a group of males running down Coronation Road. A man was arrested on the road.

Officers then located and arrested a second man on Boxalls Lane. A short while later, two other males were arrested on Lower Farnham Road.

The car keys were not located, however other items were found in the area which are suspected to have been stolen, including shoes and sunglasses.

A bank card, which is believed to have been stolen from a car on Coronation Road, was also found.

In total, four arrests were made:

- A 23-year-old man from Camberley has been arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling – with intent to steal and conspiring to commit a burglary dwelling with intent to steal.

- A 22-year-old man from Aldershot has been arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling – with intent to steal and conspiring to commit a burglary dwelling with intent to steal.

- An 18-year-old man from Aldershot has been arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling – with intent to steal, conspiring to commit a burglary dwelling with intent to steal and obstructing / resisting a constable in execution of duty.

- A 16-year-old boy from Aldershot has been arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling – with intent to steal.

They all remain in custody while our enquiries continue.

Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries and would like to hear from witnesses. Did you see any suspicious behaviour in the areas during the times mentioned above?
