A man has been arrested on suspicion of drugs and dangerous driving offences in Basingstoke. Officers were patrolling the town yesterday (2 April) when they noticed suspicious activity linked to a black Tesla on Pinkerton Road. They followed the vehicle to the Leisure Park on Worting Road and approached the driver. The driver left the area but was located on North Waltham Road, Oakley. Officers carried out a search and located suspected Class A drugs, £300 in cash and two mobile phones. All items were seized at the scene. A search was then conducted at an address on Landseer Close. Officers located suspected Class A and Class B drugs and £1,570 in cash. All items were seized. A 28-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of: - Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A - Driving a motor vehicle dangerously - Failing to stop when required by constable He has been bailed, pending further enquiries. | ||||
