OP SCEPTRE

More great work from the High Harm Reduction Team yesterday morning. They arrested a 38-year-old Fareham male on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate. A mobile phone was also seized.

The arrest related to an incident which occurred in Southampton in March, when weapons and ammunition were found and seized from an unoccupied vehicle.

The male in question has since been released under investigation and we will update you all again in due course.

As well as the above, further Op Sceptre engagement has been carried out at Brune Park Community School and Bay House School.

Gosport Leisure Centre, Hardway, Stokes Bay, Beach Road Car Park (Lee-on-the-Solent) and the BRT have also been patrolled, with an impromptu Op Sceptre talk given to six youths in Stanley Park. #OpSceptre (14328)
