Operation Sceptre runs until this Sunday (19 November). As part of the national week of action to tackle knives and knife crime, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has installed surrender bins in Eastleigh and Hedge End.

These surrender bins are available to the public throughout the week for the disposal of knives and offensive weapons. Here's where to find your local one;

- Hedge End Police Station – Monday to Friday during office hours
- Eastleigh Neighbourhood Police Office, Hathaway Close. Please ring the bell during office hours and an officer will be available to receive knives and weapons throughout Op Sceptre.
